Titus Andronicus at Market Hotel
TITUS ANDRONICUS
MARKET HOTEL/ BROOKLYN/ 11.03.18
We caught Titus Andronicus (and Spider Bags) on the last show of their tour at Market Hotel in Brooklyn.

Spider Bags opened up.

They broke a few strings but kept playing along like champs.

I overheard someone at Market Hotel say that Spider Bags were the best rock band in America.

The set opened with Patrick from Titus Andronicus setting some rock and roll ground rules. No macho bs.

Patrick of Titus Andronicus opened up with “To Old Friends And New”. And then shredded a bunch.

Midway through the set, Titus Andronicus launched into the most obscure cover songs I have ever heard. They were from a random punk compilation vinyl found in a thrift shop in England. This one was by a band called “Blazing Lazers”. I can’t find it online.

Shredding

A Titus Andronicus fan enjoying herself.

“If these walls could talk… Well maybe it’s better that they don’t.”
